First draft done: Night of the Manticore at 8,200 words, and comments back from 2 first readers. I'll let this one cool a bit before tackling the next draft. It was interesting writing this one - it deviated much from the initial outline in fun ways.

Rewrite done: Silk and Shadow at 7,000 words (the original was 4,000 words). Major changes, but I think the story's much stronger now, and in the words of a first reader, 'twisty' :)

Next, maybe The Spymaster's Shadow or a rewrite of Nightshade and Glory-Morn.
